The Lost Puppy

Once upon a time, in a small town, there was a little puppy named Max. Max was a playful and curious puppy. One sunny day, he decided to explore the neighborhood.

Max ran out of his yard and followed a butterfly. He chased it through the park, around the trees, and over the grass. He was having so much fun that he didn’t notice how far he had gone from home.

After a while, Max looked around and realized he was lost. He felt scared and started to whimper. Just then, a kind girl named Lily saw him. She approached Max and said, "Don't worry, little puppy. I will help you find your home!"

Lily gently picked up Max and took him to her house. She gave him some water and food. Then, she looked for Max's owner. She found a tag on his collar with a phone number.

Lily called the number, and soon Max's owner came to pick him up. Max was so happy to see his owner again! He wagged his tail and jumped with joy.

From that day on, Max always stayed close to home and never chased butterflies too far away. He learned that adventures are fun, but home is the best place to be.
