Once upon a time, in a beautiful forest, there was a little flower called the snowdrop. The snowdrop is also known as a " подснежник" in Russian. It is one of the first flowers to bloom in spring, and it has a special story.

In the cold winter, the forest was covered with snow. All the trees were bare, and the ground was frozen. But deep under the snow, the snowdrop was sleeping. It was waiting for the warm sun to wake it up.

As spring approached, the sun began to shine brighter and warmer. The snow started to melt, and the little snowdrop felt the warmth. It was time to wake up! The snowdrop pushed through the soft, wet soil and broke through the last layer of snow.

When the snowdrop finally opened its petals, it looked like a tiny white bell. It was so beautiful! The other flowers were still sleeping, but the snowdrop was the first to say hello to spring.

Many people came to the forest to see the snowdrop. Children laughed and played around it. They loved to pick the flower and give it to their mothers. The snowdrop brought happiness and joy to everyone who saw it.
